    Expert Answer
Yes, but not all Samsung Galaxy. For the recent smart Samsungs, you can connect wirelessly without Chromecast or an HDMI cable by using Samsung Dex or directly mirroring your screen onto your TV. And those have to be TVs that support casting. If you have old TVs, you can use Chromecast or HDMI to mirror your smartphone on your TV.
  • Question
How do I connect my Galaxy to a smart TV?
    Community Answer
There is a tab at the top of your phone that says "smart view." Click on it and select the device you wish to connect to.
  • Question
What should I do if enabling screen mirroring isn't an option on my Android?
    Community Answer
Depending on the TV you have if you were using a smart TV, it may not be worded in that manner or under screen mirroring. Reference the make and model number of the TV, and ask if that model has any capability of that nature. If you don't have it, or can't find the manual on it, the easiest thing to do is search for it online.

      Tips

      • If your Samsung Galaxy is running any operating system version older than 4.1.12, you may not be able to mirror your screen.
      • You'll need to have your Samsung Galaxy fairly close to your TV in order for the cast to work. If you experience connection issues, try moving closer to your TV.
