There are lots of things you can do to be more romantic as a man. First off, you can make an effort to be more affectionate toward your partner, both physically and verbally. On the physical side, try hugging them, kissing them, and holding their hand more often. Little things like putting your arm around them when you’re sitting next to each other can also go a long way.

On the verbal side, work on expressing your love and appreciation for them more frequently. Don’t just assume that they know how much you care—tell them directly! For example, if you’re going on a date, you could say, “Wow, you look amazing tonight! I’m honestly the luckiest guy in the world.” Even if you’re just hanging out together at home, you could say something like, “Being with you is the best feeling ever. I want you to know that you mean absolutely everything to me.”

Thoughtful gestures and surprises are great ideas, too. You could swing by their job to bring them a latte from their favorite coffee shop, for example. Or, if you know they had a bad day, you could order their favorite takeout and have it on the table waiting for them when they get home. If a man is trying to be more romantic toward his partner, he can do little things to show that he cares for them. He can share their work without them asking. For example, he can get flowers for them, do the laundry, or cook for them even though they have not asked him to do it.
