Do you want to make your Discord profile stand out? With Discord's new profile customization, you can easily change the color themes of your personal profile! This was previously a limited beta feature, but it is now accessible by everyone. All Discord accounts can change the profile banner color, but you must have Discord Nitro to change the profile's theme color or use a picture as a banner. This wikiHow will show you how to change your profile colors on Discord using your computer, iPhone, iPad, or Android device.

Things You Should Know

  • Basic accounts can change the banner color, but you must have Nitro to change the profile theme.
  • On desktop, click the cog icon. Click "Profiles" → "Banner Color" → select a new color. Click "Save Changes".
  • On mobile, tap your user icon → "Profiles" → tap the pencil icon. Tap "Banner Color" → select a new color → "Select" → "Save".

    Use the color slider to adjust the shade and hue. You can also enter a hex code into the field below.

      • Upload Image : navigate to an image saved to your computer. Click it, and then click Open .

    As you make changes to your profile, a pop-up will open on the bottom to warn you of unsaved changes. Click the green button to apply your customizations.

    Underneath the Profile Theme header, you'll see Primary and Accent . The Preview window will show the new colors as you edit them.
    • Click Primary . This is the main color of your profile theme, starting at the top of the page.
      • Use the color slider to adjust the shade and hue. You can also insert a hex code into the field.
    • Click Accent . This is the accent color of your profile theme, beginning at the bottom of the page. This blends into the primary color.

    Nitro users are able to set a unique profile for different servers. To do so, click the Server Profiles tab in the Profiles section.
    • Select a server from the Choose a Server drop-down menu.
    • Click the field for Server Nickname to change your name for this server.
    • Click Change Avatar to set a new profile picture for this server.
    • Click Change Banner to set a new banner for this server.
    • Click Primary or Accent to change your profile theme for this server.
    • Enter a new description into About me .
    • Click Save Changes when you're finished.
