Ugh! There’s nothing worse than a punching bag stand that just won’t stop shifting and sliding around while you’re in the middle of a great workout. Don’t lose your cool and take it out on the bag (or a nearby wall). There are some simple things you can do to help keep the stand from moving so you can focus on punching.

  1. A free-standing punching bag uses a base that you fill with material to help weigh it down. If you have one, go with sand instead of water, which is much heavier and will help keep the stand from moving and sliding. [1]
