Quickly change the Quick Chat wheel in Among Us to normal chat

Quick Chat was introduced as a way to promote safety in public lobbies of Among Us while providing quick and easy access to commonly used phrases. If you're over 13 years old, you can easily change the chat mode to "Free Chat" instead. This allows you to type freely into the chat without the smart chat wheel. This wikiHow will show you how to turn off Quick Chat and turn on Free Chat in Among Us on all platforms.

Things You Should Know

  • You won't be able to completely disable Quick Chat, but you can enable Free Chat to use instead.
  • Open Among Us and click the cog icon. In Settings , click the Data tab.
  • Select Free or Quick Chat next to Chat Type .
