All the Ways to Use TikTok on a Computer
The easiest way to use TikTok on your computer is to go to TikTok's website in your browser. You can watch videos and upload content right from the website. You can also use a Bluestacks emulator, install the official Microsoft Store app, or install it as a progressive web app via Chrome.

Sign in to https://www.tiktok.com . You can watch TikToks without signing in. However, if you want your personalized feed or to upload videos, click Log in and choose your account type, then enter your account details to sign in.

Scroll through your For You page. Just like on the mobile app, you can scroll through TikToks on your For You page. However, instead of swiping, just scroll with the scroll wheel on your mouse.Advertisement

Click Upload to upload a video. Then, click the red Select Video button to choose which video you want to upload. After choosing a video, fill out the description, tags, and any other info you want to change before clicking the Upload button.

Install Bluestacks. Bluestacks is an Android emulator that can be installed on both Windows and Mac computers. With Bluestacks, you can install and use TikTok on your computer.

Open TikTok. Simply click on the TikTok icon in the "My Games" tab on Bluestacks.

Click Sign In at the bottom of the screen. Alternatively, if you don't have a TikTok account, you can choose a way to sign up on the main screen. Follow the on-screen prompts to sign up for an account.

Choose your account type and sign in. If you use your Google account to sign in to TikTok, you can select it easily from the pop-up window after choosing the Google account option. Otherwise, type in your username/email and password to sign in.

Scroll through TikTok to view them. Just like on your phone, you can scroll through TikTok to watch them. However, instead of swiping, you'll drag your mouse up or down to scroll.

Click the + sign to create a TikTok. Bluestacks will ask for permission to take pictures, record video, and record audio. Click Allow to approve this.

Click the picture icon to access photos and videos on your device. This icon is in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Bluestacks will ask permission to allow TikTok to access files on your device. Click Allow to approve this.
- TikTok will only be able to access files on the emulated Android. To add files to the emulator, click the button with a house icon at the top of the Bluestacks screen to return to the phone's home screen.
- Then, click System apps > Media Manager .
- Click Import from Windows in the bottom-left corner.
- Choose the photos and videos you want to import to the device.
- Once the media has imported, return to TikTok. You will see the files you imported in your device's files when you try to open a photo or video to create a new TikTok.
- TikTok will only be able to access files on the emulated Android. To add files to the emulator, click the button with a house icon at the top of the Bluestacks screen to return to the phone's home screen.

Browse and create TikToks just like you would on a phone. If you get an error that TikTok couldn't post your video, it will still be saved in your drafts. You can then open TikTok on your phone to post the video.
