X, formerly known as Twitter , is an excellent source to stay up-to-date on what's going on in the world and with the people and causes you care about. But can you read X without having to make an account? Currently, X is implementing a restriction on tweets viewed by non-users, but there are plenty of workarounds you can try. This wikiHow article teaches you how to view tweets and X profiles without signing into an account.

Things You Should Know

  • You must be signed into an account to view tweets. This restriction may change in the future.
  • Use Google to search for a specific X user along with a word, phrase, or hashtag. Tweets should still appear in the top search results.
  • Use third-party websites to search for X trends and keep track of what's happening on X.

Unfortunately, refreshing the page won't bypass it. [1]
    • This restriction may be removed in the future. Until then, you can always create an account or try the methods below.
