Ok, I’m in the 7th grade, so I will move to Los Angeles this summer. I’m homeschooling for 2 years from now. Do you think I should go back to school in 8th grade?
If you’re in 7th grade, and you’re thinking about that situation for two years, the last time I knew 7+2=9, and thereby you’re best decision may vary well be to attend you’re 9th grade school year once you go back (assuming you pass all of your classes in both years).

I was homeschooled myself and it has helped me so much with all my classes and research. I am at the top of my class, not trying to boast, but homeschool helped me a lot. I learned how to find answers on my own and be independant in my work. If you could tell me a little more about the reasons your thinking that you should go back i might be able to help you better. I too went back to public school in the nineth grade, so i may be able to help. If you want you can tell me on my talk page
I am homeschooled and I love being home for highschool. I personally think it is up to you and your parents. If you are homeschooled, you will get more one on one time with harder subjects. I prefer being homeschooled!

Think about your decision in the long run and do what will work best for you. I was homeschooled from 10-12th grade (U.S.) till I graduated, and while I thought there were some disadvantages (like limited social/collaborative opportunities, unless you’re always with a group), the advantages outweigh them in my opinion. Homeschooling afforded me the opportunity to learn at my own level, tailor my curriculum to my interests and skill levels, have more time to volunteer, etc.
