While new article boosting, I came across the article “Be Like Chloe Lukasiak from Dance Moms”. Immediately, I knew that the title didn’t comply with Character Article Standards, so I’ve been trying to figure out what to change the title to. The article isn’t about looking like her, it’s about copying her personality, basically. I was thinking “Act Like Chloe Lukasiak”, but then I realized that according to the Character Article Standards, using “Act Like” can only be used for articles about acting (in TV shows, plays, movies, etc.). I’ve come across a few other articles that are called “Be Like So-and-So”, and the article itself basically describes living your life like so-and-so does. If you’re confused as to what I mean, check out the Chloe article here: http://www.wikihow.com/Be-Like-Chloe-Lukasiak-from-Dance-Moms
What titles should these types of articles be given?

^ That’s something I always notice. I sometimes find the title “Be Like ___”, so it’s Nfd|cha, but the problem that the steps are okay. For the article, I think the title should be…Be inspired by Chloe Lukasiak’s Style from Dance Moms ? Not sure that this title is perfect, though…
Exactly. The article itself follows the character article standards, but it’s just the title that doesn’t. I considered something like “Live Your Life Like Chloe Lukasiak from Dance Moms”, but it sounds a little strange…

At least it’s better than “Be Like”. I was thinking about a crazy idea. Since we can’t find any good title (waiting to see others’ ideas), we can add {{Split}}. Split to: 1) Do makeup like Chloe____ 2) Do Chloe Lukasiak’s hairstyle___ And another articles. Bad idea, right?

Or “Behave like” “Be inspired by” “Draw inspiration from” All very decent and workable… and within guidelines.
I don’t know who created this… The article creator went under my Username, and I haven’t written it… Sapp is my new nickname because it is the 4 first letters of my real username. Furthermore, I didn’t create the article… I don’t know Chloe from Dance Moms (Never watched the Show). I looked at the log where it shows the articles you’ve created and I haven’t seen anything related to the Chloe article… I know this isn’t the subject for this whole thread, just saying.
@Sappires
- Actually, you’re not listed as the creator. The article was created by an anonymous user, but since you were the first registered user to edit the article, your name is first in the “Edits by” section. That doesn’t mean that you’ve written the article, and it won’t show up as yours, just so you know.
Oh, well, maybe it was an old edit, I must have forgotten. Maybe I edited it in my early wikiHow times
Anyways, thanks for telling me that
^ You’re welcome. By checking the page history, you categorized it a couple days ago.
^ I agree. I also like “Emulate”, as Ttrimm suggested. I’ll definitely bookmark this thread for when I come across “Be Like” articles.

I don’t think we need to split anymore. We can change the title to “Behave like”.
^ I think I’ll do that. “Behave like” seems to be the best one, since I doubt that ‘Emulate Chloe Lukasiak’ would be searched often. I’ll change the title. Thanks everyone for your help with this!

Behave Like is a very good option and not one I had thought of before.
