I have an idea for a neat sociological experiment. I would like this thread to be be contributed to during the month of August about what we, as users were doing. then in a year, resurrect the thread so that we can see it and marvel at how at different we are!!!

I will start. * I am averaging about 5-6 hours a day on wikiHow * I have crossed the 85,000 boost milestone * I am trying to improve my photography and writing a bunch of articles towards that * I weigh 230 pounds, but hope to be to 160 by next year (I am tall, so it isn’t as bad as it sounds) * I have been boosting for 4 years and continue to be consistent and fairly decent at it. People say they don’t know how I do it…I don’t know either!
* I average about 8-10 hours a day on here (Scares me a little) * I’ve just got the patrollers Barnstar by the King of patrolling - 40,000 edits patrolled * I’ve learned to patrol without any video or article and am hoping to coach others to do the same * I’m doing the Youth Project * I’ve made a plethora of friends by coaching and being kind - Hoping they’ll do the same * And, I’ve been a member here for a little over a year - I’m hoping to stay on for years to come ~ June Days

Shhh, don’t remind everyone of the other time capsule we sent off last year!-If everything goes as planned, I *should* be an NABer when this thread is opened. -I have written 7 articles, consisting of 2 RSs and 1 FA, and hopefully by next year I’ll be a Featured Author, too.

* Now a days I am doing more than 100 edits per day in Hindi wikiHow i.e. just translating MediaWiki files. I wish to finish those at the end of second week.
*Now a days, I work on reviewing MediaWiki files in Hindi wikiHow, creating new articles there, starting important templates, bug-hunting and finally reporting it to Chris!
*I’m not nearly as active as I would like to be and have been in this position for months now. *I feel as if I can’t offer wH more than 5 minutes at a time and certainly not enough for a bunch of edits. I’m sorry about this. *I read the forums most days though. *If I do end up doing an Honours degree next year, I will probably have just as much, if not more, work as I do now. *I’ve been here just over 4 years. *I’m just publishing a new cartoon on my blog.
* I get on wikiHow whenever I can, which isn’t nearly as much as I want to
* I am a booster, and I have written only 1 rising star (I’ve probably written another one, but its still in NAB so I’m not sure about it). Even though I rewrite/bold edit a ton, the articles were technically written by someone else, so no Featured Author status for me* I get on the forums multiple times a day. * I have recently started to use the wikiHow IRC channel. * I am organizing and leading the 2012 Rally to Raise Quality. Totally new experience for me!

to get back to me with my NAB test score *I keep waking up every morning with amazing nail art ideas in my head (to wikiHow!!) *I have about 10 more articles until my 40 articles goal *I just got back from Boston! *I am e-mailing my pen pal in Germany much more often *I turned in a bunch of old DS and Wii Games and got $109! *The Olympics are on! We got a gold medal in most swimming events and women’s gymnastics (first time since 1981!)
*I write on random articles which I think might be useful. *One of my best article creation was"How to clear your bowels effortlessly" which was very funny and was eventually deleted.lol ! *I like educational subjects so I can write plenty of them using my knowledge. *Most of my articles haven’t been researched and are purely my creations. *I can edit a huge amount of articles in a given amount of time.My favorite fields are image picker,patrolling and quality guardian. *I have added a lots of images to articles including my self made images on others articles. *Working on the site helped me a lot being dyslexic and its symptoms have been reduced to a greater extent. *I edit occasionally wherein in a month I would be editing 4days continuous and remaining days holiday. *I plan on starting up a business soon as I can wait to become 20 and then do a job. *I plan on beating Usain bolt as I too want to run as fast as him.I run daily 2hrs straight in morning to up hills and downhills. *I recently had my first boxing match which I lost to my pro-brother hope I can beat him next time. *I hope to break my record of 23continuous free throws in basketball. *The list is on lets see what happens after this time capsule is brought out.To my future me -“I am a Genius!”

*I have reached 1,000 edits and 1,000 edits patrolled *I hope to become an admin and finish the NAB test before next year *I love helping everyone who needs it on wikiHow *I love writing articles, adding images, patrolling, and categorizing *I spend about 1-3 hours a day here *I have written 26 articles, 13 Rising Stars, and 4 articles featured on the home page! (very proud of myself) *Dance is my life *I love food *I’m hoping to attend wikiMania or go to a meet-up once in my lifetime *I do and always will love wikiHow! <3
A look back at my past 1 1/2 years I’ve been a part of this site(this post will MAYBE change in the next few days): *became featured editor after doing several good edits to many articles(Featured Author mentioned I was a steady editor at Video Adder, which, at the time had problems running on my computer, and one other, *have worked on almost every project in the Dashboard along with(occasionally, now) @SudoKing
’s Related’s Adder. *although I don’t presently have a good solid, steady job, I’m hoping to obtain a better one(maybe something other than volunteer).(I had one seasonal job throughout, but again, it was only a seasonal job!) *I’ve worked on other sites, but seem to gravitate back here daily to see where else I can improve. * I’ve written a myriad amount of new articles consisting of innumerable Rising Stars and some even have went on to become Featured Articles themselves. * I’ve worked on only bold editing one article(only to find it wanting to be removed by the original author-when Chris Hadley deleted it per authors request, Chris gave the edit to me to resubmit, so it exists again under my name * I average anywhere from 10-15 edits per day(depending on Dashboard app) at the time of edit. *I’ve made many friends here(over 50% are either NABers or Admins). Met a few newbies, but they had little interaction with me(their choice, not mine). * have completed the NAB test, but, to my demise, my failure to respond with correctness on editing and the notifications to author, led to my failure of the NAB test several times(working to improve on this, but it’s tricky)(I passed all others with “flying colors”, esp despite not understanding and revising one other section for clarification). * Just started to use IRC lately, but have found little chance to get on it with valuable information to talk about. *Hoping to attend a wikiHow meetup on the East Coast soon, but, due to work and $ to travel, that could take a long period of time. *
