- Open Contacts, People, or Google Contacts.
- Tap a contact.
- Tap Delete , the trashcan icon, or tap ⋮ > Delete .

Open Contacts. The app is a blue silhouette of a person.- Use this method if you use Google Contacts to manage your phone book.

Tap a contact to delete. A new page will open with that contact's information.- If you want to delete multiple contacts, press and hold a contact until you see a checkmark on their profile name, then tap to select more entries.

Tap ⋮ . This three-dot menu is in the top right corner.- Skip this step if you have multiple contacts selected.

Tap Delete . Confirm your action by tapping Move to Trash .- If you have more than one contact selected, tap the trashcan icon and select Move to Trash to confirm. [1] X Research source
