Signing out of X (formerly known as Twitter) is easy and quick, and doing this after your sessions can help protect your account. You can also log out of other sessions as well as revoke permissions for third-party apps. This wikiHow will show you how to log out of Twitter (X) on your computer, iPhone , iPad, or Android device.

Log out of Twitter

Open Twitter/X on your mobile device or in a web browser. Click or tap your profile icon. Navigate to Settings and privacy > Your account > Account information . Then click Log out .
