How to Make a BICtory Pen Mod for Pen Spinning

Pen spinning, according to Wikipedia, is a form of "object manipulation" where one uses a pen, pencil, or other writing utensil and twirls it in various different ways. However, using regular pens and pencils aren't the best options for pen spinning. Most pen-spinners like to make pen mods, which are exactly what they sound like they are- modified pens that are tweaked and customized to make pen spinning easier for them. This article will teach you how to make a BICtory Pen Mod, which is a simple modification that requires equipment that can be bought virtually anywhere. The word "BICtory" is a portmanteau on "BIC" (a company which makes pens), and the word "victory." You will definitely feel victorious once you create this pen mod! There are two versions: BICtory Basic and BICtory Advanced, which uses more pens.

Will using normal flat-ended round stic pens work?

Yep! Instead of using chopsticks, you can use wire-cutters and pinch with medium force just slightly behind the back cap.

Tips

You can use PaperMate Eagle pens and this guide to make a pen mod. It won't really be a " BIC tory," but it will still work.

If you want to make your BICtory look more visually appealing, you could add grips and pen tips on top of the caps. A recommendation would be taking the grip and the pen tip off of two Zebra Z-Grip retractable pens. These pens should be available in most office stores (Staples, Office Depot, etc.), if not, you can get them online.
