Bay Leaf Abundance Spell Jar

  1. You can use literally any jar, so go with what you have on hand. Grab a mason jar if you have one, or a recycled food jar works great. Just make sure your jar is big enough to fit a bay leaf. [1]
    • Save jars that come with jams, pasta sauce, and salsa. They make great spell jars!
  2. Add one or more herbs to your jar to increase the potency of your spell. You probably already have some—or all—of these herbs in your pantry, so use what you have. All of these herbs attract money: [2]

    • Cinnamon
    • Clove
    • Basil
    • Thyme

  3. Bay leaves are super easy to find because you probably have them in your spice pantry right now. Pull out an intact leaf and use an ink pen to write down what you want. [3]

    • “I want $50 by Friday.”
    • “I’ll receive unexpected cash, with no harm to anyone.”
  4. Add a green crystal, such as aventurine or jade . Both aventurine and jade attract prosperity, so they’re perfect for your abundance spell jar. Simply place your stone next to the bay leaf for a little spell boost. [4]
    • You might like to use multiple crystals to add more energy to your spell.
    • If you don’t have an aventurine or jade, any green crystal will work.
  5. Use a green candle to seal your jar because green represents money. Light the candle, and then drip the wax all around the lid to seal the jar. Be careful that you don’t get the wax on your skin because it could burn you.

    • You can use dried basil if that’s all you have or if you’re using a jar that’s too small to hold a basil leaf.
  3. Squeeze in 2-3 drops of patchouli , cinnamon , or peppermint essential oil. All of these oils attract money, so they’re a great option for your money magnet jar. Use one or all, depending on what feels right to you. Magic is personal, so let your intuition guide you .

  6. While they’re optional, symbols increase the potency of your spell. Write money signs on a piece of paper, or use a money sign trinket if you have one. As you add the money signs to your jar, really reflect on your intention to draw money to yourself. [17]
    • If you have a small drawstring bag, you could draw a money sign on it and place it in the jar. That way, it’ll represent a big bag of money.

    • If you don’t have a tiger's eye, use a clear quartz stone. Charge it with your intent by holding it in your hand and thinking about your intention to be successful.

    • If you don’t have cinnamon sticks, ground cinnamon will work just fine. Cinnamon sticks just give your jar a better aesthetic.
  4. Include a few drops of bergamot or ylang ylang essential oil. Both of these essential oils attract success for your business. Squeeze in 2 to 3 drops of 1 oil or both if you have them on hand. Your money spell will be both fragrant and potent with the extra boost from the essential oil.
  5. Use a yellow or gold candle for a success spell because they correspond with luck. [23] Light the candle and drip the wax all around the edge of the jar to seal it up nicely. Then, set the candle on the jar.
    • If you don’t have a yellow or gold candle, a white candle will work as a substitute.
