Most likely - ‘special/restricted interests’ are common for people with Autism, and being a film buff is a very interesting/engaging hobby, so it’s most likely quite common to find Autistic film buffs.

It would be impossible to list all the movies here, but look up lists of the most famous movies in different film movements (e.g. The Bicycle Thieves is the most famous Italian realist movie, The Big Sleep is one of the most famous films noir), as well as lists of the most influential movies in general (e.g. Citizen Kane, which was actually influential for its cinematography, story, and set design, not the meaning of "rosebud", even though that's all pop culture remembers). Of course, there are film buffs with autism - not many neurotypical people have the patience to spend hours upon hours watching movies frame by frame, but plenty of film buffs do!
