Use the included mini USB cable to connect it to the PS3 console. All standard Dualshock 3 or Sixaxis controllers have a mini USB port on them that allows you to connect them to the PS3 to be used wired.

Plug in the controller with the USB cable that came with it. If that doesn't work, or you don't have one, buy a "Dualshock 3 USB cable" (google it). If that doesn't work buy a "Dualshock 3" (google it) and look for one by Sony.
