Use toilet paper and liquid latex! Take a section of toilet paper and split it apart so it's the very thinnest it can be. Then, draw a unique shape on your skin (like the shape of a country). Apply the thin toilet paper to the shape with liquid latex, ripping it along the edges of the outline to create a ridge. This makes it look like the flesh has fallen at a different level to skin. Fill in the inside of that ridge with brown blood to finish off the look.
  • Question
What other products can I use to make my face white?
    Community Answer
If you can't use face paint, loose powder is a good substitute! It gives you a good mix of colors including skin tone and white. I also use another method where I mix foundation and eye shadow to create a white "paint."

Get some old clothes from a thrift store that you can tear and rip apart.

You can buy fake blood rather than make it.
  • Question
How do I look like a zombie without any equipment?
    Community Answer
You can use makeup. Paint your face gray, and use gray lipstick. Add touches of red wherever you want. Tatter up a shirt and a pair of jeans some jeans, wear some old shoes, and you're done.
  • Question
Is there any substitute for corn syrup?
    Community Answer
The best substitute would likely be honey, but you'd need more food coloring to counter its golden color.
  • Question
What do I do if I have no makeup, no fake blood, am broke, and cannot tear up my clothes?

Just try to get as creative as possible. Use red marker. If that doesn't work, cut up pieces of paper and color them red (try make it look as realistic as possible) and glue or staple them to your clothing.
  • Question
What if I'm allergic to anything that is made of blood?
    Community Answer
It is not real blood, but if you can't use fake blood, you could use red makeup, washable red markers, mashed up strawberries, mashed up red jello, or food coloring.

Watch a few zombie movies to get the feel of the zombie’s stagger. Imagine you’ve sprained your ankle and don’t want to put much weight on one of your feet.
