You can get some great component pieces or get an all-in-one (receiver) with a tuner, amp and pre-amp built-in on Ebay. S.A.E. (Scientific Audio Electronics) is a USA made brand that is high end with a low price ($200 or less should get a decent receiver). You will be able to plug a turntable in via RCA 1/8" cables, hook up your speakers and enjoy your vinyl.

How do I get my turntable to play the records until the end without the tone arm lifting up?

This means your turntable is automatic. You could try to adjust the auto-return on your turntable. There's usually a screw at the bottom of the turntable that can be used to adjust where the tone arm returns automatically. Some turntables have the option to turn the option off completely.
