  • Question
Someone hacked into my account and turned on the ''two-factor authentication'' settings. The code has to be entered before I can gain full access to the account and I don't have access to the code. What should I do?

You will be able to gain access to your account again once you log into the account from a computer other than your usual computer. Then you'll need to check the account's settings to make sure the two-factor authentication (2FA) settings have been turned off. If your password is the primary way to log in, it would take a while to change your password, but you can reset it by clicking on the "change password" button, which is often near the top of your password list.
  • Question

This must be a frustrating situation for you. If you’re able to provide Facebook with a way to confirm the data associated with your account, Facebook may be able to help restore your account.
