QuestionCan vinegar remove ink stains?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerVinegar won't be as effective as rubbing alcohol on removing ink stains from a purse. It's also really easy to use. Turn the lining inside out as much as you can. Dip a cotton ball into rubbing alcohol and rub it gently over the stain. If the stain is super stubborn, let it soak for 30 minutes. Then, blot the spot with a sponge, paper towel, or a cloth that's damp with clean water to soak up the rubbing alcohol. Keep adding rubbing alcohol and dabbing it up until the stain is fully lifted from the purse. Then, let the purse air dry before you use it again. That's it!

QuestionHow do you remove ballpoint pen ink from a purse?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerOne simple way is to use hairspray. Yes, hairspray! First, turn out the inside lining of your purse to expose as much of it as you can. Take a few layers of paper towels or a clean cloth and place them under the part of the lining with the ink spot. Then, spray some hairspray directly onto the ink spot. If the lining does not pull out of the purse so much, or if you are concerned about getting hairspray on other parts of the purse, you can also spray the hairspray on a Q-tip and rub the stain with it. Dab at the spot with a dry cloth or paper towels to lift the stain from the surface. Spray more hairspray and repeat the process as many times as it takes to fully remove the ink spot from your purse. Once you're finished, leave the purse to air dry completely before you use it again.

QuestionCan dish soap remove pen ink?Drew Hawkins1Community AnswerYes, using dishwashing liquid is a great way to get rid of a pesky ink stain. First, turn the purse lining inside out as much as you can. Then, pour a small amount of mild dish washing liquid or laundry detergent into a dish. Use a clean cloth to dab the detergent on the ink stain. After that, blot the spot with a separate clean cloth that's been dipped in clean water. Keep adding detergent and dabbing with the clean cloth until you manage to remove the stain completely. Once you're finished, leave your purse to air dry and you're all set!
