However, this is pretty uncommon if you use popular torrent engines. I used The Pirate Bay when I first started downloading torrents and never had a single problem finding seeds.

How do I make it stop seeding?Community AnswerIf you are using a normal torrent client on Windows, you should be able to go the sidebar that has your different torrent states. Click on the seeding tab to see how many torrents you are currently seeding. In the main window, right click the torrent and select stop to prevent that torrent from seeding. Note: If your task manager opens the torrent client every time you log into windows, then it may start to seed the torrent again. Disable the program on startup in the menu to prevent this.

It's a relationship that requires both parties to do their part.
