When you first start shaving, it is common to cut yourself. Go more slowly next time, and don't press so hard on the razor. Also, make sure your skin is wet and and lubricated with shaving gel/soap.

What do I do if it stings under my arms when I moisturize?

If your under arms are stinging when you moisturize them, it may be because of your lotion. Your skin may also be sensitive to your lotion after shaving. Check to see if you cut yourself from your razor. If not, try a different moisturizer.
  • Question
How do I shave my legs?
    Noelle Nguyen

I personally use a men's razor, just because it's meant for the face, meaning that you're less likely to get cuts. I use soap on my legs, and leave it on as I shave so that I have a slippery, smooth surface. You can also use shaving cream as an alternative if you have that. Shave from the bottom up, and don't do it too fast, or you can cut yourself. I start shaving on one side of my leg, and I slowly start moving to the opposite side so that I don't miss a spot. Rinse the razor out every couple of strokes so your razor doesn't get clogged up with hair. Use moisturizer afterwards.
