When you start the game up from the Nintendogs menu, when the screen goes white before the intro clip, you just hold in all the buttons on the DS and it will ask you to confirm resetting. Once done, you will start the game from scratch at the kennel picking out your first dog. You will lose all saved points, funds, tricks, items and dogs.
