How do I book a Groupon voucher given as a gift?

Actually, this is not straightforward using a printed version of a voucher that has an embedded link. In the end I had to ask the person gifting to help book via their My Vouchers page. Not ideal, but I guess this is how Groupon increases margins.

How do I print the gift card with the Groupon I bought?

First, you log in to your account on Groupon from a computer that has access to a printer. Next, you look in the upper right of the Groupon window where it says your name, hover your cursor arrow over it until you see the drop down menu, then click the "My Groupons" link. At this point, you should see a list of all your purchased Groupons. Look for the one you'd like to print, and on the right side of it, you will see blue text that says "Print Gift Card or Voucher." Click that and your card or voucher will pop up. Select "print."
