There are two types of information you may find about yourself on Whitepages.com: Free info, which is available to everyone, and premium info, which only paid users can see. Go to your Whitepages.com details. To do this, go to https://www.whitepages.com and search for yourself. Click the View details button to open your details.

Copy your listing's page URL. Here's how:
- Use your mouse or finger to select the URL in the address bar.
- If you're using a phone or tablet, long-press the highlighted URL and select Copy .
- On a computer, right-click or control-click the highlighted URL and select Copy .
- Your Whitepages listing's URL should look something like this: https://www.whitepages.com/name/Your-Name/Your-City/(reference number)

Go to https://www.whitepages.com/suppression-requests in a web browser. This is the official tool for opting out of Whitepages.com.

Paste in your copied URL and click Next . If you're using a computer, right-click or control-click the "Copy and paste URL of profile here" text box and select Paste . On a phone or tablet, long-press the field and select Paste . You should see your copied URL in the text box. Clicking Next takes you to a confirmation page.

Click Remove Me . This button should appear below your personal information.

Select a reason to remove your listing and click Next . Click the "Select a reason" drop-down menu near the top of the page, then click a reason (e.g., I just want to keep my information private ) in the drop-down menu. Click Next to continue.

Enter your phone number and click Call now to verify . You'll also need to check the box to affirm that you are the person whose information you're removing. When you click the button to continue, you'll receive a phone call.
- WhitePages won't use your phone number for anything other than verifying that you want to remove your listing.
- If you don't want to use your real phone number, try using Google Voice instead.

Confirm your Whitepages.com listing removal. On the verification code page, you should see a four-digit code. When your phone rings, answer it, and the automated system will prompt you to enter the code.
- Once the code is confirmed, you'll hear confirmation that your data will be removed, and the page will refresh to show "Your request to opt-out has been accepted."
- It can take up to 24 hours for your information to be removed from Whitepages.
- Unfortunately, search engines like Google and Bing may still show snippets of your information for up to two weeks after deleting your WhitePages listing.

Removing Premium Information

Find out if Whitepages has a premium report for you. Search for yourself on Whitepages. If you see a button next to your information that says "View full report," people can pay Whitepages to retrieve a premium report on you. These reports may include contact information, current and past addresses , email addresses, criminal and traffic records, property information, and other public records. To opt out, you'll need to submit a removal request.

Copy the address of your premium report. Click the View Full Report button to open a report description, which tells potential buyers what information will be included. Then, to copy the address:
- Use your mouse or finger to select the URL in the address bar.
- If you're using a phone or tablet, long-press the highlighted URL and select Copy .

Fill out the form. To complete your removal request, do the following:
- Enter your email address in the "Your email address" text box.
- Paste the URL of your premium report into the "Listing URL" field by right-clicking, control-clicking, or long-pressing the field and selecting Paste .
- Type your full name, city, state, and phone number as they appear on the report.
- Select the reason you want to remove the listing, such as I am being harassed or stalked by someone .
- Enter a brief explanation of why you want your listing removed in the "Description" text box.
- Type Please remove my premium listing into the "Subject" field.
- Type Please remove my premium listing again into the "Description" field.

Click Submit at the bottom of the form. This submits your removal request to Whitepages. You should see a confirmation page, and you will also receive a confirmation email.
- Your Premium Whitepages listing should deleted within 48 hours.
