If you can't find your remote, there are a few ways you can turn your Vizio TV on and off. You can use the hidden power button, the mobile app, a universal remote, and you can use an HDMI-CEC device. This wikiHow article teaches you how to turn on a Vizio TV without a remote.

Turn On a Vizio TV without a Remote

Press the power button on the bottom, left side, or back panel of your Vizio TV to turn it on without the remote. After pairing your TV, you can also use the Vizio mobile app as a remote. You can use an HDMI-CEC device, such as a game console, to turn on your TV.

    The power button isn't always easy to find, and the location varies depending on the model. [1]
    • On some TV models there is a button panel behind the TV on the left-hand side next to or below the HDMI inputs. It typically has an icon that resembles a circle with a line through the top.
    • On some TV models, the power button is on the bottom panel below the TV. It may be in the lower-right corner, lower-left corner, or in the center below the Vizio logo.
