Want to collect all the available characters in Castle Crashers? You can get a good chunk of characters by defeating the game with the starting knights. You'll also receive characters by beating certain levels, clearing different arenas, and buying DLC packs. Here's how to get all the Castle Crashers characters on your PC, Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch.

All Castle Crashers Character Unlocks

If you defeat the game with each of the four starter characters, you'll receive the Skeleton, Industrialist, Royal Guard, and Fire Demon. If you beat the game again with these four new characters, you'll receive the Bear, Fencer, Saracen, and Ninja. Characters can also be obtained by defeating levels, bosses, and purchasing DLC.

  1. The Red Knight is one of the four starter characters you get in the game for free. By beating the story using the Red Knight, you'll receive the Skeleton. Then, by beating the story using the Skeleton, you'll receive the Bear. [1]

    King's Arena = Barbarian = Beekeeper. The King's Arena is the first arena in Castle Crashers. Here, you'll find the Barbarian-type enemy. By defeating this arena, you'll receive the Barbarian character.
    • When you defeat the game with the Barbarian, you'll receive the Beekeeper character.

    Thieves' Arena = Thief = Snakey. The Thieves' Arena is the second area in the game. You'll see the Thief-type enemy in this area. When you defeat this arena, you'll receive the Thief character.
