  • Question
The female Specimen keeps attacking me, even if I do just nice things!
    Community Answer
You can't make Specimen wolves into mates. You need to find Dispersal wolves, then you pick the following, "I like you", "Let's play" etc. Then finally at five hearts, pick "Let's start a pack!" then boom, you have a mate.
  • Question
I have a mate but I cannot find a den and thus cannot get pups. What should I do?
    Community Answer
You have to look in the green area, and keep searching in that space until you find the den. If you are in the Saddle Meadows, it will be in the middle of the green area.

  • Question
Where can I find dispersal wolves on WolfQuest?
    River
    Community Answer
In 2.7, you need to have at least 800 XP. In the 2.5.1 version, you need to have dominated at least one wolf in each territory. A message will pop up, telling you to find a mate. Go to a wolf territory and follow the yellow dots in scent mode (Press Z). A dispersal should show up -- press "positive remarks only".

  • Question
How do I get a mate on the newest version?
    Community Answer
You just kill a lot of elk, hares, coyotes or chase off bears or cougars infill you have 800 experience points. To check your points, hit "esc" and click on "Pack Stats". Once you have 800 points you can go to the three territories untill you find a dispersal mate that is the opposite gender. Make sure to say nice things so you don't scare him/her off. Once you have gotten your mate, name them and head to the star shown on your compass.
  • Question
How can you check how much experience you have?
    Community Answer
Click the Esc button, open Pack Stats, and then on the right side, look for "Experience."
  • Question
What is the easiest way for me to gain experience?
    Community Answer
The easiest way is to kill 8 elk. If you approach a herd of elk, the ones with lower health will run away. Chase them, as these are the easiest to kill. The bull elk is a lot harder to kill, so don't go after it until you have a mate.
  • Question
Where do I find dispersal wolves and how do I get pups?
    Community Answer
You find dispersal wolves in any wolf territory after you either dominate a wolf from each territory in 2.5.1 and in 2.7.1. You need to have 800 XP.
  • Question
What do I do if the male keeps attacking me in WolfQuest?
    Community Answer
If it's 2.5.1 then it's because you didn't go to 3 territories first, and if it is 2.7.1 then you don't have at least 800 XP.
  • Question
How much experience do I need?
    Community Answer
800 experience; you can get this by hunting or dominating wolves in the territories. It's generally easier to chase cougars off, though, as they give you 200 experience and you just need to hit them; elk take multiple in-game days to chase and kill.
  • Question
How can I see how much XP I have?
    Community Answer
You can press the Esc button and click on 'Pack Stats'. Look at experience and it will say how much you have.

    ScylerWolf

I don’t think there is a specific number of cow elk or bull elk that you need to kill prior to finding a mate, but your EXP must be at least 800, and I believe one cow elk is worth 100 EXP.
  • Question

    Community Answer
Then you and your mate have pups, and you have the job of looking after them, training them and making sure they don't run into bears, coyotes or eagles.

Will this technique also work for WolfQuest on Android?
    Community Answer
    Yes.
  • Question
Will these methods work for the mobile version?
    Community Answer
Yes. In the mobile version, 2.7, you have to have about 600-800 experience points to find a Dispersal Wolf. Chasing coyotes, hunting elk and sometimes chasing grizzly bears gives you more experience. But remember, if you DO choose to attack a Bull Elk in the single player, it's quite hard and dangerous, as attacking Bull Elk is easier in the multiplayer.
  • Question
It says I'm on wolf territory, but I can't find a scent trail. What do I do?

  • Question
I've gotten more than 800 points and I've dominated one wolf in each pack yet I still can't get a mate. Is there something I'm missing?
    Community Answer
Maybe just try to refresh the game. If this doesn’t work, contact the WolfQuest crew.
  • Question
Why can't I dominate any territories even though I have lots of experience?
    Community Answer
It mostly depends on your strength; some wolves are stronger than others. Find another wolf and say "I'm the boss!" (If that doesn't work, say it again.) You'll attack them, and when they attack you back, watch your health bars to see who does more damage. If you do more damage, keep saying, "No! I'm the boss!" and the wolf you are trying to dominate will give in when it has half its heath left.
