This wikiHow teaches you how to obtain all seven pieces of Orichalcum+ in Kingdom Hearts 2 on the PlayStation 2, 3, and 4. You'll need each of the seven pieces in the game to create the Ultima Keyblade weapon.

  1. You'll be rewarded with one Orichalcum+ each for clearing the following areas: [1]
    • 100 Acre Wood - Complete the "Starry Hill" episode.
    • Atlantica - Complete the "A New Day is Dawning" song.
  2. If you collect at least one of every synthesis item in the game and turn them in to a Moogle, you'll receive one Orichalcum+ as a reward. [2]
    • You will most likely have to farm enemies for a few hours in order to collect one of each necessary synthesis item, though having Lucky Lucky equipped during normal play can make this step easier beforehand.

  3. You'll find a group of chests immediately before the MCP boss fight; one of the chests has an Orichalcum+.
  4. While you might think going to the Sunset Terrace in Twilight Town would have little value other than reminiscing about the six Wonders that Roxas had to search for in the prologue episode, the area itself has an Orichalcum+:
    • Jump on top of the tram car that's moving back and forth.
    • Jump from the tram car onto the roof that contains a chest.
    • Open the chest to retrieve the Orichalcum+.
  5. There's one relatively easy Orichalcum+ available in The World That Never Was. Left of the bridge leading into The Castle That Never Was, you'll find a small ledge that's slightly hidden behind the large chest containing the map for the city; open the chest on this ledge to find the Orichalcum+ there.
  6. Any Moogle will reward you with an Orichalcum+ upon turning in your last unique synthesis item. [3]
    • In order for the Orichalcum+ to appear in your list of materials, you will have to exit and then re-enter the Moogle's shop to turn it in as well.
  7. After beating the previous three cups and defeating Xemnas at Memory's Contortion, a fourth cup in the Underworld Tournament—the Goddess of Fate cup—becomes available. Complete the 10-round tournament, and the final Orichalcum+ is yours.

  • Question
How do you get to the manifest illusion in the Cave of Remembrance?
    Community Answer
You need Valor Form's High Jump (Maybe Level 2, but definitely works at Level 3) and Master Form's Aerial Dodge/Double Jump (Level 1 works fine). Just time the second jump right and Sora should grab the ledge, that is if you're jumping from the next room's door platform.
  • Question
What Moogle level do we need to be at?

    Community Answer
Level 6, Artisan Moogle. That is the level at which you can apply Bright and Energy materials to S-Rank recipes.
  • Question
I cant seem to find the seventh one. I've been to the bridge, I've found the chest you are talking about, but I have no clue were the last one is. I've opened both chests and have done every other thing down to the letter and got the stuff, it's just this last one, what do I do?

    Community Answer
Make sure you've cleared both 100 Acre Wood and Atlantica, grab the three chests from Twilight Town, Space Paranoids, and The World That Never Was; beat the Goddess of Fate Cup, and turn in one of every material to the Moogles.

      Tips

      • Since the HD remake of Kingdom Hearts 2 is virtually identical to the original PlayStation 2 version, the Orichalcum+ locations have not changed, so don't worry about the differences between the original and Final Mix versions. [4]
      • Make sure to open every chest you can find. Following this simple instruction should naturally net you three of the seven Orichalcum+ you need, as well as the Torn Pages necessary for completing the 100 Acre Wood's episodes and getting another.
      • Equip the Lucky Lucky ability. The earlier in the game you start building the Synthesis collection, the less work you have to do when you finally make gathering Orichalcum+ a priority. Make sure to check the Moogle's Item list frequently so you have a better understanding of what you're missing. This also helps with the farming of the other materials that the Ultimate Recipe requires.

      Warnings

      • You'll need to pick up the Ultimate Recipe as Sora to put the recipe together at all.
      • If you're playing the HD ReMIX version of Kingdom Hearts 2 on PlayStation 3 or 4, remember that it is the Final Mix version, and Lucky Lucky will not be the ability attached to the Sweet Memories Keyblade.
