Using trending sounds in your TikTok videos is a great way to increase your reach and boost engagement. But how can you find out which songs are popular on TikTok? Scrolling through the For You page is a great start, but there are plenty of other ways to see which sounds are trending, including TikTok's Creative Center, Tokboard, TokChart, and even streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music. This wikiHow article will list the best ways to search for trending TikTok sounds you can use in your own videos.

Things You Should Know

Go to https://ads.tiktok.com/business/creativecenter/inspiration/popular/music to see TikTok's list of trending sounds by country.
Scroll through your For You page and pay attention to which sounds are used in multiple videos. This will also show you how others are using sounds!
You can also search TikTok for "trending sounds" and "viral" to see what's popular.

The Creative Center is the best tool for finding out what's trending on TikTok. To access Creative Center, go to https://ads.tiktok.com/business/creativecenter/inspiration/popular/music in a desktop or mobile web browser. This free tool displays songs that are currently trending on TikTok, and you can filter the list by country.
- Click See analytics on a track to see the trending sound's statistics, including how long it's been trending, what age range typically views this video, and viewers' related interests.
- On the analytics page, you can alco click See related videos for a quick link to TikTok videos that used the selected song.

The most popular sounds are often obvious on the For You page. Everyone's For You page is different, but thanks to the TikTok algorithm, no one will miss out on hearing trending songs and audio. You'll definitely be able to pick out which songs are trending just by scrolling the For You page for a few minutes and looking for repeated sounds.

You can search for the word "trending" or "viral" on TikTok to find trending sounds. Just tap the search icon, enter "Trending," then tap Sounds to filter the results. Sounds with the "popular" label are the ones trending at the moment. Using these songs in your own videos can get you a quick visibility boost !

You can see what the trending songs are when you create a new video. Tap the + at the bottom of TikTok to create a new video, then tap the music note icon at the top to open the Sounds panel. This takes you to the "Popular" tab, where you can scroll through a list of popular sounds on TikTok.

These two sites are great free tools that document trending sounds on TikTok. Head over to https://tokboard.com or https://tokchart.com in a web browser to check out the results.
- At Tokboard, the top result will be the most widely used song on TikTok in the last week. You'll also see how many videos have used the song as well as how many views it's had. Click the song title to see more information about it, like current hashtags, top countries, and a link to the sound on TikTok.
- TokChart lists the trending and growing audio. To see trending audio, click Trending at the top of the page and browse the list.

According to TikTok, more than 175 trending songs were also on the Billboard in 2021, which is twice as many as in 2020.
