You probably should not worry too much about it. It is a crime to destroy letters in possession of the Post Office, and most mail carriers are trustworthy. But if you truly are concerned, then you can follow the steps in Method 3 of How to Contact the President of the United States to send a message to the president electronically.
  • Question

    Spaceship
    Community Answer
Yes, you can write an email to the president. But keep in mind that you are likely not going to get a personal reply from the president as he is very busy. You are likely going to get a reply from one of the White House staff members.
  • Question
Is there another name for a president?
    Ifeoma Ozoigbo
    Community Answer
If you mean how to address him, then when you are writing a letter to the president, always start with Mr. President. You should really never use the president’s name ( for ex: Dear President Biden or Dear Joe Biden) because it would be disrespectful.
  • Question
I am sending a copy of my book to the White House. The letter I am including is addressed to the president. Should the book be addressed to the White House or to the president?

Use the address shown in the article above. However you address them, the letter and book will be reviewed first by someone other than the president, and they will decide whether to forward them to the president.
