My snail is a picky eater and it does not come out of its shell a lot, only if I take it out of the tank. What should I do?

Keep in mind that most snails are nocturnal creatures and are most active at night, leave out a variety of foods and check in the next day to see what's being eaten.

Almost all fruits and vegetables are okay for snails to eat. I actually find my snail enjoys eating strawberry leaves more than the actual strawberry, though. Blended fruits and vegetables are safe for snails, but some snails don't want to eat them in that form, it depends on your snail's preferences. However, feeding your snail store-bought applesauce is not a good idea because it contains lots of sugar, preservatives, chemicals, etc. Feed your snail freshly prepared food instead.
