  • Question
wouldn't it feel hot ... and burn ?

Handheld fireballs do get hot and can burn you if you hold it in the same place on your hand for too long. If you constantly shift it in between your hands, it won't burn you!
  • Question

    Community Answer
No. Don’t throw fire. If you have to ask these questions, you probably shouldn't make it in the first place.

    Community Answer
You can only hold it for a brief moment before your skin will burn.
  • Question
Can I use oil instead of alcohol?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can use Rem oil which will produce a hotter flame but it is more expensive than alcohol. It's a gun cleaner, it'll be in a green spray bottle.
  • Question
Exactly how long can I hold it before I get burned?

    Community Answer
About 3-10 seconds, or at maximum with a low flame, 10-30 seconds. But don't try keeping it for 30 seconds just because I said so! Whenever you feel it tingle or burn, don't think twice about shifting it to your other hand.
  • Question
Is it safe for children to make a fireball?
    Community Answer
It depends on their age. Younger children should not do this at all, and even older children should have parental supervision.
  • Question
Can I use hand sanitizer to make a fireball?
    Community Answer
No; this is potentially very dangerous. Hand sanitizer is thicker than alcohol; it could either blaze up and burn out of control or not work at all.
