  • Question
    How much cement is needed?

I was surprised to use five 60 lb. bags to fill a mini-van's tire. That is 300 lbs! Works great, though.
  • Question
How far from the ground should the ball be ?
    Community Answer
This depends on who will be playing it the most. If you're making it for children, the ball should sit naturally at about a child's chest height. That way, when it's swinging it would take a good amount of effort to return.
  • Question
Where do you get these things?

The supplies to build the pole and court can be found at your local hardware store. A tetherball can be found at sports shops, like Sports Authority or Dick's Sporting Goods. You can also find them online.
  • Question

No. You want the rope to wind around the pole.
  • Question
How do you get the ball and the rope put together?
    Donagan

An actual tetherball has a rubber eye hook attached to it so that a rope can be tied to the ball.
  • Question
Is there a tetherball that can be used with both a volleyball and a tennis ball?
    Donagan
    Top Answerer
A tetherball is the size of a volleyball. A tennis ball wouldn't work as well, because it's not heavy enough. It wouldn't have the right momentum.
