Of course! Just try to keep the lower portion of your legs as close together as possible.

  • Question
How can I properly double cross my legs?
    Ashley Chan
    Community Answer
Cross your right leg over your left leg at the knee. Try to cross your legs as much as possible so that your knees are pointing at the most opposite directions and your thighs firmly together without any gaps. From the side view, your right leg should appear slight behind your left leg. Next, tiptoe your left foot and curl your right foot around and over your left ankle just the way we normally do our ankle-cross. Make sure your right foot "pops out" to your right side and firmly hooked to your left ankle. From the front view, your legs looked clearly crossed at both the knee and the ankle.

  • Question
I am a male whose life dream is to sit with my legs crossed like a lady every time I sit in a chair, and I've always wanted to make out with a girl when we're both sitting with our legs crossed. How?
    Tom De Backer
    Top Answerer
Women's hips are placed slightly differently, which results in women walking differently and being able to cross their legs farther than most men. Women also tend to be more flexible. That said, there is no reason why a man could not cross his legs while sitting; with practice, you can reach a comfortable and relaxed position. Finally, there's no problem with kissing a girl in this position. With your legs crossed, your upper body still has most of the reach it does when you sit without your legs crossed.
  • Question
Any other tips for a lady who wears very short skirts?
    Community Answer
Always be conscious of how you've placed your legs. Realize that getting in and out of a car is going to be very tricky and learn how to to it with elegance and decorum. Consider adding tights or leggings if you are going into the cold weather or you're worried about wind. Always wear clean, proper knickers to cover everything in case of mishaps. Learn self-defense, both verbal and physical because some people are creeps. But most of all, own it.
  • Question
Do women cross their right leg over left or left over right?
    Community Answer
It depends on the woman and what they feel most comfortable with. The proper form for sitting would be for the woman's legs to be closed with just the ankles crossed, but it's entirely up to her.
  • Question
How do I sit like a lady if I'm male?
    Community Answer
Try Method 1, sitting with your ankles crossed, as you may not find it comfortable to cross your legs.
  • Question
When sitting in traditional posture, how much distance should I keep between my palms and my abdomen when my palms are rested on my lap?
    Community Answer
While sitting with straight-up posture, and with each upper arm at your sides, bring your lower arms inward to your lap until your hands meet. That will be the spot to place your palms, if it is comfortable and makes you appear relaxed.
  • Question
What about how to sit like a man? Why the sexism?
    Max the Wolf
    Community Answer
This is far from sexism. Sexism: prejudice or discrimination based on sex or gender (definition from Britannica), there is no hatred or slander for the male gender. This is how to sit like a "proper lady", this is teaching etiquette and probably helping trans-women to sit like their preferred gender and help express themselves. • Question
How do I tie my shoes if I'm wearing a short skirt, or put on heels with straps so my panties don't show?
    Community Answer
While sitting, sit on the front of your chair, with your legs together and feet flat on the floor, bend down gracefully to tie your shoes. Get up gracefully, keeping your legs closed. Never bring your foot up to the chair. If standing, squat down with your legs closed, gently pulling your skirt down and tie your shoe. As long as you keep your legs closed, skirt down, and look elegant, you should be fine. Practice makes perfect!
