It uses a centrifugal clutch rather than a manual clutch so you will not find a lever on the left handle. To get into gear, simply step down on the left foot pedal and you are in first gear - but still not moving.

  • Question
How do I install a piston into the caliper?

    Community Answer
The key is to be gentle. After you have replaced the square rubber O-ring, roll the ring upwards slightly and then place the piston into the caliper. I used a fat bolt and a few gentle tap with a hammer. If it's stuck, use some brake fluid to lubricate.
  • Question
    Is this automatic or manual?
    Community Answer
It would be a automatic if there is no clutch lever.
  • Question
Is this rotating gear? For example, gear 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - N ? Or do I need to press upward to reduce the gear using my toe?
    Community Answer
On Chinese motorcycles sometimes you shift down to increase the gear, on US bikes you shift up to increase. On manual bikes, the gearing is usually 1-N-2-3-4-5 and on most automatics it is N-1-2-3-4.

      Tips

      • - Always wear a helmet and preferably gloves too.
      • - After stopping, it is possible to change from 4th gear directly to N (neutral) because of the rotary gear system. Don't worry, it does not work when the bike is being ridden, only when it is stationary.
      • - To slow down and or stop, apply both brakes together, more on the front and somewhat less on the rear, it's all to do with the dynamics of riding.

      Warnings

      • Although engine capacity is only 100cc and pumps out a mere 6Hp, it's still good enough to get you in trouble! (top speed about 90kph or 57mph).
      • Since there is no manually operated clutch, downshifting from speed will lock up the rear wheel and cause the bike to skid. (It is possible to downshift - you just need to learn to co-ordinate gear changing and throttle operation)
