Following the success of Wordle and other games like Connections and Strands from The New York Times, LinkedIn released their own takes on some classic puzzle games such as Tango . A classic 3-in-a-row game with a 6x6 grid and two standard symbols (a sun and a moon), the goal is to fill the board. Occasionally, LinkedIn will release special themed boards and symbols for holidays or other events.
How to Play
- No more than two identical symbols may be next to each other (horizontally or vertically). [2] X Research source
- Each row and column must contain the same number of symbols (3 suns, 3 moons).
- Cells with an equals sign = between them contain the same symbols.
- Cells with an x sign × between them contain different symbols.

1Assess the board. Each board comes pre-filled with a certain number of symbols to give players a starting point.

2Place your first symbols. Two good starting points are placing a different symbol between two symbols of the same type to prevent having 3-in-a-row (sun, moon, sun), or placing different symbols on either side of two of the same type (moon, sun, sun, moon).Advertisement

3Take note of the signs between squares. In the 6th column, there is an equals sign between the two remaining squares and the column only has one sun, so these squares must contain suns.
- In this case, the column already contained three moons so the remaining squares could have also been deduced to be suns without the sign.

4Consider how the placement of symbols in certain squares might affect the board. In this case, placing a sun in any of the highlighted circles will force three moons to be together, so these circles must instead all contain moons.

5Repeat until solved. Repeating the steps in order will allow you to reach a completely solved board. As a reminder, the steps to solving involve:
- Placing a different symbol in between or on either side of pairs of the same symbols.
- Filling squares with remaining symbols to maintain balance in columns and rows.
- Utilizing the signs between squares.
- Considering how placements will force other placements to prevent 3-in-a-row.
