How to Turn On Snapchat Notifications: Step-by-Step Guide

If you're not seeing push notifications for new Snaps, chats, and stories on Snapchat, you need to make a few minor changes to your settings. This wikiHow article teaches you how to turn on Snapchat notifications on your Android, iPhone, or iPad, and how to customize your alerts to only be notified about the Snapchat content that matters most.

Quickly Enable Snapchat Notifications

Tap your profile icon in Snapchat and select Notifications . On Android, check the box next to "Enable Notifications," then select which notifications to receive. On iPhone/iPad, use the switches to enable or disable each type of notification.

    Each notification type has its own switch, and you can tap each switch to enable or disable notifications for that feature.

    If you want to be notified every time one of your friends posts to their Story, tap Manage Story Notifications at the bottom, and then tap your friends' names to select them. When you're finished, tap Done .

    This allows you to receive notifications for Snapchat.
