There are all sorts of spoons. There's the bouillon spoon, the demitasse spoon, the saucier spoon, the egg spoon, and the good ol' tablespoon. Each one is different, yet each one can be defined by the same basic characteristics. Below are two methods to draw a simple, every day spoon.
Steps
-
Draw the spoon's handle. To make the handle, draw a stretched drop shape and bend it a little in the end.
-
Draw the body of the spoon by making an oval attached to the handle.Advertisement
-
Using the outline as reference, draw another line following it. This will give some depth to your spoon.
-
Color your drawing. Use grey, black, and white to make the utensil look metallic.

-
Add an oval at the top for the bowl or head.
-
Draw the stem or handle. Feel free to change the shape of the handle to whatever you like.
-
Add in a design at the tip of the handle. Alternatively, you can just leave it plain.
-

QuestionHow do I draw a fork?Community AnswerUse the same guidelines as for drawing a spoon, but add the tines of a fork instead of the bowl of the spoon. Practice until you have it right.

QuestionI did the steps, but I had trouble drawing this. Why is that? Also, do you have any tips for me on drawing this kind of simple stuff?Community AnswerYou're never going to get it on the first try. Art takes practice. It might take five or even twenty times drawing this spoon to get it perfect. And remember, you are always your worst critic. For drawing simple stuff like this, I recommend setting yourself a timer for two to five minutes and drawing until the time runs out. Stop when it's done, even if you didn't finish, and move on to a new page and start again. Do this a few times and it'll get easier.

QuestionHow do I draw a two line fork?Community AnswerMake a bubble shaped "U" and "I" and stick them together. You'll get a nice 2 line fork.
