  • Question
Can I do it more than once?
    Community Answer
Yes, but it only works on items you're holding less than 128 of. If you encountered Missigno, you should have 128 more of the item. If you encountered 'M, you will have exactly 128. You can always deposit items in your pc and continue, though.
  • Question
Can this be done on the 3Ds S download game?
    Community Answer
Yes, every glitch you can do on the Gameboy can be done on 3DS.
  • Question
Can I do this on an emulator?
    Community Answer
Yes, you can, I have personally. There are no extra steps needed, and it helps if you stay on the tile that is half water and half land when you do this.

      Tips

      • You will find the weirdest stuff in the water. If you find Pokémon over level 100, it will go back down to level 99 the first time you use them.

      Warnings

      • MissingNo. will not break your game . It's true that it may clutter the graphics, but this can be fixed by looking at another Pokémon's stats . It's also true it could freeze your game when depositing the Pokémon to the pc, but only if it's level 0 . The only permanent glitch would be the messed-up Hall of Fame, but this problem happens also when seeing MissingNo. - not only when catching it .
