When facing the genetically engineered Pokémon Mewtwo, preparation is key. Come equipped with plenty of Ultra Balls and healing items to withstand its devastating psychic attacks. Lower its HP significantly while inflicting status conditions like paralysis or sleep to stop it from recovering. Even for experienced trainers, catching this powerful legendary will require skill, strategy, and a bit of luck.

      Tips

      • Inflict some status effect on Mewtwo. Freeze and sleep work the best, but others like paralysis can work as well.
      • If you want to save your Master Ball, stock up on Ultra Balls (around 70). Timer Balls can also be effective, for their success rate increases the longer the battle goes on. Mewtwo can be caught with these, but it is very difficult.
      • Save prior to the battle and restart until you succeed.
