    What is the best yarn to use and how much do I need?
    Community Answer
    It really depends on the thickness and/or sturdiness of your sticks. If your sticks are thin, use thin yarn (thick sticks - thick yarn OR thin yarn). The amount of yarn also depends. If you are making a large God's Eye, you would use a large amount of yarn (small God's Eye - smaller amount). This also depends on the thickness of yarn as well. If you are using very thick yarn, you would need to use less yarn because of the space it takes up. If it's thin yarn, use more.

      • To start a new color, tie the end of the old color yarn to an arm of the X. Make a double knot. Now start a new color of yarn in the same place by tying it on. Continue wrapping.
