Reasons to Make a Collage

PDF download Download Article
  1. 1
You can compile and share memories. If you have a special event, such as a birthday or wedding, you can create a collage of photos from that event. Rather than a photo album you need to flip through, you can see multiple moments side-by-side when it's placed in a collage.
  2. 2
You can use collages to tell a story. Collages can be used for other events—not just your own. You can use a collage to describe something that happened in the past, relate issues from different time periods, or even create links between two seemingly opposite things.
  3. 3
Collages can be used as an outlet. Whether or not you're a naturally creative person, you can create collages to express any feelings you're holding inside. Collages can be created from anything; you don't need to use photos of people. Use photos of flowers, plants, scenery, and more.
  4. 4
Collages can promote your products. If you're a store owner or you sell a product, collages can help increase your sales. You can showcase the product in multiple perspectives, surround it by other similar products, and more to quickly show potential customers about your product.
  5. 5
Collages can create memorable presentations. If you work in a field that relies on visuals to illustrate key points, collages can highlight important information.
