Amazon never uses the PayPal system. It only supports its own system. If you don't have a credit card, you'll be stuck with funding your Amazon gift card system account with money or from other places with funds that can be approved by Amazon.

If there is no eBook version of the book, you cannot get that book for your kindle. However, if there is a PDF of the book you wish to buy, you might want to try downloading the PDF and sending it to your Kindle. (send an email to you send-to-kindle address with the PDF attached and the subject line as 'convert'). It's a bit trickier to read as PDFs were not made to be read on the Kindle, but that's one way to get an electronic version.

Go on Amazon, select 'Kindle Store' as the category you are searching in (hover over the grey box to the left of the search box, by default it should say 'all'), and type in the title or author or keywords of the tile of the book you wish to buy for your Kindle. Then, shop as you normally would. If you cannot find a book, Amazon might not have it.
