Drum breaks are not strong enough to keep you from moving forward. It can be done with drum brakes if the person doing it has extremely strong legs.

    Yes, any bike that has a disc braking system can do a burnout. Doing them with drum brakes would be difficult because they aren't as strong and will not keep you from moving forward. With drum brakes, heat builds up inside them with excessive use.
