When the salt is dry, wipe it off. Then put baking soda on it (Arm and Hammer is the best), let it soak up as much as possible, then scrub with a paste of baking soda and a bit of water. Next, put vinegar on it (white vinegar only!) until it is nice and saturated, let it soak for 4 minutes, blot it with a white paper towel, and then machine wash with cold water and bleach.

QuestionDo coffee stains come out in the wash? This answer was written by one of our trained team of researchers who validated it for accuracy and comprehensiveness.wikiHow Staff EditorStaff AnswerIf you wash the item immediately after the spill, you may be able to wash the stain out. Blot up as much of the coffee as you can and rinse the spot under cool water. Then, rub a little detergent into the coffee spot before you toss it into the wash. Since heat can make the stain set, wash the item in cold water and make sure the stain is gone before you put it in the dryer.
