Toner will fade slightly each time you wash your hair. If you are trying to fade it more quickly, try a clarifying shampoo and massage it along the length of the hair strands.

A clarifying shampoo is one that is designed to remove impurities and buildup from hair. You should use one once a month, but not more frequently as it can strip your natural oils.

I would recommend getting the chelate shampoo to use until you see a difference, then use purple highlight shampoo for the blonde highlights.

I bought the shimmer lights purple shampoo and have left it in my hair for three hours in the last four days and I still have yellowish roots and little orange pieces, what do I do about it?
    Community Answer
Purple shampoo isn't meant to fix the yellowish/orange areas, it's meant to keep them from occurring, so your best decision is to re-dye that part and then keep using the purple shampoo.
