QuestionHow do I add a picture to my Duolingo profile?Community AnswerGo to the leader board, click on your icon and it will take you to a page displaying your achievements. Then click on your icon again where there is a little object. It will take you to where you store your pictures or downloads (this will depend on what type of device you are using to practice Duolingo). Simply select a picture, click open (again this will vary on what type of device you are using). It should be displayed on the page with your achievements. Note that it might take time for your selected picture to be displayed on the leader board.

You lose lesson hearts every time you get a question wrong. Gems are items you earn to buy things like power-ups.
