Pull the sticker up slowly from the peeled corner. As you pull the lifted edge, try to work at the point where the sticker meets the laptop with a fingernail to help keep the sticker intact. Peel slowly until you’ve lifted the sticker off of the laptop.

Getting a sticker off of a laptop can be tricky, especially if it leaves behind a lot of sticky residue. Start by grabbing a corner of the sticker and pulling it up. If you can’t get a grip on the sticker with your fingernails, try very gently prying it loose with a plastic putty knife or the edge of a credit card. Slowly and carefully peel off the rest of the sticker. If it’s been there for less than a year, there’s a good chance it will peel off cleanly, and you won’t need to do any additional cleanup. Finally, as a last resort, try warming up the sticker residue with a blow dryer set to low or medium heat. Then, wipe the softened glue off with a damp cloth, or scrape it away with a plastic putty knife.
