Auctions can be canceled if there was an error in the listing or if the item is lost or broken. Ebay strongly discourages users from canceling a listing early and may place restrictions on your account if you do it frequently. You may even be charged a fee for canceling early. Tips
- Explain the situation to your bidders in full prior to removing a listing. In most cases, bidders may be able to retract their bids, and will be less inclined to leave negative feedback for you as a seller as long as you practice open communication. Thanks
- Double-check all details of your listings and check to make sure the items work and are in stock before posting items for sale on eBay. This habit will help reduce the number of instances in which you might need to remove items from eBay.Thanks

Warnings
- If there are at least 12 hours remaining for an auction-style listing, eBay will charge you a fee for removing the listing. The fee amount will be equal to the final value fee, which is the fee you would have ended up paying if the listing had ended and the item had sold in a normal fashion. Thanks
